It’s nearly impossible to believe that we’ve been back at Kudjip for almost six months since our Home Assignment time in Ohio last year. Our time with family and sharing in churches was refreshing and enriching. It seems that with every opportunity that we get to tell the story of God’s work in this place, the Lord renews our calling and love for the ministry He has for us here. It’s a joy to be back at Kudjip and participating in the work of the Lord. Pray for us as our big kids finish the school year, as Katherine cares for Luka at home and coordinates all of our housing and volunteers who come to Kudjip and for Ben as he takes on a new role as Director of Medical Services for the hospital. Pray also for timely paperwork approvals for our MK elementary school teacher so that he and his wife can join us. Pray for our missionary and national colleagues who are facing heavy burdens and burnout.
It turns out that it’s easy to feel inadequate, lonely, ill-equipped and even depressed at times on the mission field. We need your prayers and most of all we need the Lord’s help. We want to be faithful and obedient to him! He has never failed us yet and we know we can trust Him to enable us for His work in this place. The following video gives you some glimpses into our lives in the last months and it’s a privilege to share this journey with you.
Thanks for sharing this. It brought back so many memories.
